This blog is my own outlook on the new life this world is in, the COVID-19 pandemic. It was hard trying to find a URL that nobody has used already related to this outbreak but regardless...
San Fransisco has shut down, the entire city is shut down, seven counties and nobody is allowed to do anything. It's almost a martial law but not?
Here in the Midwest things have not gotten that bad. Stores close at 10 PM to restock and clean. Bars are still open, at least where I live, for now. Not that I drink at bars much that time in my life has passed but whatever.
I have been tracking this virus since it started in China, when it just started to infect, I tend to try to keep up on infectious diseases in the world. Aside from my own interests since I was younger, I find virus and bacteria interesting, in the event of something in life going exactly how it's going I can at least try to prepare. This virus scares me. Ebola did not scare me as much, that virus is what started my interest in microscopic death bringers. COVID-19 is scary.
Not because of the death, it's the infection. It seems to be easy to get and easy to spread. It is not a pleasant experience either.
It seems to be only a matter of time before we are all infected and that is what scares me and everyone else. People have been panic buying. It will only get worse. I imagine my own employment eventually shutting down.
So in the meantime I try to code, try to do art, go to work and keep the house clean.
I just read that insurance companies are going to essentially screw us.
Waived TESTING, not treatment.
So that's cool...
